About Us

Resthaven Funeral Services, Skkot Cody P.A. is an independently-owned, licensed funeral establishment. Located north of Frederick, Maryland on the scenic Catoctin Mountain Highway (US Route 15 North), we share an address with Resthaven Memorial Gardens, but are a separate entity from the cemetery; however, recent changes in Maryland law will soon allow Resthaven Funeral Services, Skkot Cody P.A. to merge with Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Inc.

As a licensed full-service funeral establishment we serve all people and all faiths. We provide cremation services (crematory on-site), burial, or entombment at any cemetery including church cemeteries, any of the State veterans cemeteries or Arlington National Cemetery. We also arrange domestic and international shipment of human remains.

At Resthaven, we do our best to serve the all needs of our families, so we maintain a pet-friendly facility. Resthaven Memorial Gardens also provides burial and cremation services for pets, and plans to eventually open a pet funeral home.
