Grief Support
Grief
is a natural, normal response to loss. The amount,
intensity, and duration of grief is unique to each
person, and varies depending on the closeness of
the relationship and the personality
characteristics of the survivors. The commonality
is that we all experience grief as the price we
pay to have close relationships with other human
beings.
Everyone grieves in their own way, and
there is no “right” or “proper” way to express or
experience grief. We all experience losses in our
lives.
The staff of Resthaven Funeral Services,
Skkot Cody P.A. does everything they can to assist
families and individuals in this process, and
helps to prepare an appropriate service, by which
one can celebrate a life lived, mourn a shared
loss, and begin the process of healing. With
compassion and understanding, we strive to create
an environment in which people can make these
transitions as smooth as possible.
To this end, we have provided links to
resources that may assist with this process.
